Exhibition and presentation Omani Salon

Omani Salon: At the end of their residency, the artists Riham Noor and Rawan AlMahrouqi (both from Oman) will give a presentation on their artistic works and the young art scene in the capital of Oman, Muscat. They are supported by the Stal Gallery & Studio (Muscat, Oman) and the German Omani Association.

Further artists in LIA are: Martina Valcharova (Brno / Czech Republic), first scholarship holder of the Technical University of Brno, with the support of the City of Leipzig / Department International Relations; Joyce ter Weele (Netherlands), who recently started her residency, and Shangkai Kevin Yu (Taiwan / USA), who has been living and working in LIA since July.

A guest artist of the last round of LIA, Anna Taina-Nielsen (Denmark), scholarship holder of the Nordic-Leipzig artist exchange of the Goethe-Institut, will also present current works. Wim Warrink (Netherlands) and his partner Joyce ter Weele will present a joint art project as the second guest.
